Lunch and dinners are taken as main course meal. We may get a light dinner, still one must get a good lunch and a decent breakfast. I am presenting a set of some vegetarian recipes which can be prepared during lunch or dinner.

Example: when I prepare steamed rice with Rasam I also prepare some dry sabzi such as Carrot Poriyal or Vendakkai Poriyal or Kovakkai Poriyal or a plain Potato Fry or Bhindi Sabzi to accompany it.
Ensure that your meal is healthy, wholesome and prepared fresh and hot. Attempt to add a veggie salad, raita, one or two vegetable side dishes or chutney where possible.

Chole Masala
Chickpeas curries have numerous forms of preparation in the local Indian dishes. It is prepared by adding freshly powdered spices, onions, tomatoes and herbs which makes the chickpea masala taste like the ones found on the streets of Delhi. The meal may be savoured with assorted types of Indian bread such as poori, bhatura, roti, paratha, naan, kulcha or even rice.
