Hi! We are the Food Insider team. When you visit our corner of the web, we want you to feel comfortable. How did we become best friends? We're not here to trick you into making Beef Bourguignon if all you really want is a Sloppy Joe Meatball Bake (yum, btw). And if you try something outside of your comfort zone and it fails spectacularly, we'll never tsk-tsk you; we had a lot of OH, S#!T! moments (want to see them?)

Don't get me wrong, we're serious about food. If you've come here to finally tackle a sourdough recipe, we'll break down the (er, very laborious) technique step by step. Or if you want, say, *the* perfect birthday cake, the classic lasagna, or the rib eye that will never let you down, we've got it all. We just want to give everyone the Delish level of love, which means our version of the recipe will hopefully save you a few extra minutes, teach you a fun trick, or miraculously cook it all in one pot in the oven. instead of three because the dishes die. are better. worse.
